Question is a muslim usually teaches Quran to get high results in the afterlife.

But if one gets money for it, because he has no other income source or he has an income source but earns through teaching Quran as well. Would that ajar for akhira be lost then because he already got the money for it!

    Thank you.

Soceity needs the services of different professional. Deen and its teachings are too a requirement of the society. Those who dedicate their time to attain the required skills and then impart their services deserve to get compensation for their services.

The matter of Sawab is a separate thing between the person and his God.

So one should not think that he may get a reward in afterlife by doing this work?

Doing God’s job pleases God and he will definitely reward him. but in the worldly affairs the person needs to be compensated for his services. God has done it for his prophets and holders of Deen too. The propeht Muhammad (PBUH) was given the share and possession of the spoils of war and land which was caputured during battles. In the tribe of Bani Israel, the house of Lavi who were responsible for executing religious duties for their peopole, their needs were the responsibility of the whole tribe to fulfill. So, for our professional of religion, we will pay him as fee for their services.
