What if someone find Zoroastrianism more appealing to him instead of Islam. Because if a person is sincerely trying to find out the truth and another religion seems more appealing to him. So, is there any regular procedure to leave Islam?

To believe in a religion is a matter of faith. One can only believe in what one sincerely finds truth in it. In principle, no one has right to ask what the other one believes or does not believe any more. However, since religion has become one of the social identities, the matters of marriage and other social interactions are related with it, therefore, one needs to declare that he is she no more a Muslims if he or she has no fear of persecution. In case of fear of persecution he or she may decide to declare or not. The rest is paper work, and the legal procedure has to be adopted accordingly.
