What Is Allah'S Guidance On Adding Vanity To Mosques?
Having sufficient space in a mosque and providing reasonable comfort for people coming for prayer seems to be appropriate when building or upgrading a mosque. Where does Islam stands in terms of adding vanity to mosques, such as using the most expensive marble in construction of mosque, decorating dome or grills made of pure gold, spending unlimited amount of money on high towers or mosaic work, etc.
Doesn’t such practice go against the teachings of Islam to not waste money, not to show off, being humble and down to earth?
