It really does not matter what I or you think. Suffering is a brute fact of life and we have been told why. No one has ever been able to escape suffering regardless of their worldview, their status in life, their intellect, or any other resources that they have been granted.
Is it sad that our sun burns in order to provide us with necessary means for life on earth? From a certain angle it might be. What is sun’s fault? Nothing conceivable. But it does constantly burn at extremely higher temperatures and that’s a brute fact. One could argue that the sun is not sentient but that would just be a speculation.
The fact of the matter is that we can’t comprehend many things. We have to understand our place in this universe, be humble about our knowledge, and accept certain things as they are. Only then can we begin to figure out what is required of us, be productive members of our societies, be good Muslims, as well as be responsible citizens of our planet.
