What is the opinion of Javed Ghamidi or the Opinion of Like minded people of Javed Ghamidi about Pure ( Direct ) democracy? Do they think that Pure Democracy can bring more peace and progress to the society as compared to that system in which people have to wait 5 years to choose representatives?

Quran 42:38 only requires the affairs of Muslims to be based on mutual consultation. This is a foundational principle for a democratic state. Whether any policy initiatives of a Muslim state are decided through direct voting or through elected representatives is an administrative issue which is not really a concern of Islam. As a matter of practicality, however, currently it is not feasible to have direct democracies in very populous states.
