  • Profession Of A Barber In Islam Who Trims Beard

My question is is it allowed for a Muslim man to work as a barber. Because in it one cuts not only hair but also beard and moustache.

He has to make sometimes hairstyles like fade skin hairstyles which I heard are also haram but I’m not sure if the hadith is understood correctly. Also maybe he has to do perhaps the ladies hair. Can anyone guide me please in this issue?

    Thank you.

To attain beauty is the prerogative of Muslims

Ask them [O God’s Messenger]: Who has forbidden you the adornments of the Almighty which He had created for His servants, and who has forbidden the wholesome among the edibles? Tell them: They are for the believers also even in this world [but God has also given the disbelievers a share in them]; and on the Day of Judgement, they shall be theirs alone. [The disbelievers shall have no share in them.] Thus do We explain Our revelations for those who want to know.

Any fashion which is not immoral can be adopted. Beard like hair on the head can be adorned.

Beard has no special status in Islam as regarded by Muslims generally.
