My question is that I have started reading Quran regularly, it has been translated by Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi Sahib. So, in order to understand the religious thought of Ghamdi Sahib, should we read his translation of the Quran or can we read the translation of the Quran by any other scholar? Because you often say to consider the context of the Holy Qur’an. Now I am reading the Holy Qur’an, so I have this thing in my mind that every verse of it is related to my life.

Any good translation is enough to understand Quran message clearly.

However, exegesis can be different based on different principles. Ghamidi sb has different principles to understand Quran. Hence, to understand his point of view, you have to read his exegesis.

Will Ghamdi Sahib’s translated Quran and its Tafseer be available in the market or can it be ordered online?

While any good translation should suffice in understanding the basic premise of Islam, Ghamidi sahab’s translation has certain unique features that make it easy for one to understand the Quran. These features include, group and chapter introductions, paragraphing, elaboration of things that are implicit in the language or the literary style of the Quran. This translation can be read for free online at javedahmadghamidi.com or in the Javed Ahmad Ghamidi app.
