Question is when God talks about these Kiramen katibeen we see the translation as noble writers. And as we know through ulama that these are angels writing our deeds good and bad.

My question is today we humans have evolved and invented better materials to record ourselves etc. With cameras and smartphones. And God obviously has better recording stuff than anyone. Was it to tell the people of the time of the prophet [saw] to give them an idea of how they are being watched? Because they obviosuly didnt knew about cameras etc. To give them an example of something from their own time? Or are these angels really writing down good and bad deeds with pens? Because that would not make any sense when you can record with something that would be better.

Kindly explain this to me if possible.

    Thank you.

From the Quran it is clear that two angels have been appointed to keep account of each person’s good and bad deeds. What technique or technology they use to make this record is not specified hence there is no reason to speculate. Our focus should be on what is clear as well as crucial that all of us are being recorded and one day soon enough shall be held accountable for all of our deeds in front of God.
