  • Can Science Discover 6 Other Universes?

Ghamidi Sahb says that science hasn’t yet been able to determine the level of scientific haqaiq described (of a secondary nature of course) in the quran, such as the existence of 7 universes other than our own each harboring a planet containing life, and will only discover these after some research.

However, I have a confusion regarding this that beyond the limits of our universe it is impossible to make any measurements or observation because ‘space’ as we know ends there. Additionally, beyond our own observable universe, we can never expect to reach or observe light emitted by any object because it will continue to expand away from us greater than the speed of light.

Seeing these two limitations, we can never hope to discover these 7 other universes, atleast using science.

    Thanks.

Our current model of the universe is based upon Einstein’s theories of relativity. According to these theories the speed of light is a constant and nothing can travel faster than it. In the light of this restriction, it is assumed that we will never be able to discover anything beyond our observable universe. However, in science things change as a result of new discoveries and obtaining new data. There are ideas (Faster-than-light or superluminal) which hypothesize particles (tachyons) that might be able to travel faster than light, however, they are purely speculative at this time. From the Quran we know that six other universes exist, but currently it’s anybody’s guess whether we will ever be able to explore beyond the boundaries of our observable universe.

      Interesting!

Do you also see the possibility of discovering/making new theories that help us better understand the formation of the universe and how that may have necessarily led to the creation of however many (7) universes besides the possibility of direct/indirect observations, As theoretical physicists derive differing theories of the period of the early universe in light of new research/data to theorize(e.g multiverse theory) about the pre-physics stage of the universe (from 0 to approximately 10^-43 seconds).

I can’t speculate but I know that our current model of the universe has numerous fundamental challenges so it’s imperative that it will improve or change, unless, of course, the world ends prior to that. With that said, this is a much deeper discussion than what can be shared here. At a personal level I have a project that discusses our current theories in cosmology as well as other scientific theories. Once the project completes, hopefully, you will be able get a holistic picture.
