Ghamidi sahab has explained that Tassawuf is a system of belief that stands parallel to Islam. Just like many other theological systems of belief that exist in contrast to Islam, Tassawuf is also a set of beliefs that is fundamentally different from Islam. A philosophical concept of God is not what Islam’s concept of God is based upon.

Sorry you misunderstood. I asked what is the harm? Anything which brings you closer to God and makes it easy for you to practice Islam, isn’t that more beneficial? If we have a choice, should we choose sufism?
