Except for the last sermon of the prophet, usually, not complete Khutabaat, but sentences and statements are quoted from his sermons by the listeners, as the art of writing was not developed then and people used to learn by heart.

even the last sermon is narrated with some variations.

Sir, Thank you for your response.

Just a follow up question, a lot of effort was made to collect Hadees from Prophet’s time and no effort it seemed was done to collect any narration of Friday sermons; is the reason being that Friday sermon may not have too much religious items and may have political discussion and / or discussion around dealing with day to day struggles Muslims were facing at various stages before Fateh-e Makkah.

The literature of Ahadith includes the sermons of the prophet, in fragments, as narrated by the listeners. It is natural that it is not usually possible to learn by heart a single sermon in one sitting and that sermon is never repeated. That is why whatever they could remember they narrated.
