Israf can result in showing off of wealth and expressing superiority over others (as a form of arrogance), which falls under ‘Baghi‘. Therefore, Israf is disliked and when it results in any of these activities, then it will fall under the abover-mentioned prohibition. Changing one’s gender falls under changing of one’s nature with which they were born, hence resulting in ‘haqtalfi‘ of rights of one’s own body.
