I have felt that when one makes religion his 1st priority, he becomes lonely as most people around him take a casual approach towards life and don’t pay much attention to what Islam says or demands and hence he stops being a part of those useless discussions and things that happen in friend groups usually these days.

What should one do if one doesn’t have religious people around? As having the right company benefits a lot.

As the popular saying goes, “you can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends“. If you do not currently have people in your friends circle that share the same priorities as you then you can make the effort to find such people and make friends with them.

Enjoy with the people what they enjoy and discuss unless anything is against the religion. Your concern is yourself alone. There is still beauty in people even if they are not as religious as one feels one is.
