Is Wearing The Nike Brand Halal?
It refers to a goddess of the Greeks I believe- and some of their clothes even reference this. So would it be ok to wear it?

It is haram to use the Nike brand for those people who wear it to symbolize polytheism. For the rest of the people who don’t even know about any relevance to polytheism, there is no prohibition.

But does it matter what I wear it to symbolise? It DOES symbolise polytheism. Can someone wear a shirt of Ganesh saying I really like elephants? Sure we wouldn’t say he’s sinful but we’d tell him to stop wearing it.

I don’t think that the Ganesh example is befitting. Ganesh is a well known deity. If someone wears that symbol even without the intention of polytheism, they would still be symbolizing polytheism and advised against it. Nike symbol, on the other hand, is a well known sports brand logo without any relevance to polytheism for most people. Unless someone wears it with the intention of symbolizing polytheism, they would only be showing their preference for a particular sports brand.
