Taqleed or talfiq is not a subject of Deen, it is an administrative and academic problem. One is supposed to be consistent in adopting an opinion in the light of principles of understanding Deen. Any opinion of any scholar can be adopted if one finds their argument satisfactory. Following one particular scholar or school of thought is never recommended. One should always be open to accepting an opinion that is better than his own or the one adopted earlier.

Al hamdullilah, I have gone through the videos and reflected on what Dr. Irfan said but next thing is self introspection.

How should a person know that his nafs is not tricking him to believe that he got the strongest daleel ?

Human are responsible for their honest decisions. If one could not be aware of it that his nafs tricke one, this is enough excuse to put before God on the day of judgement.

Keep it in mind that to go for an easy solution is not undesirable, rather it is desirable. This is what God does with us by giving us ease by telling us different forma of prayers in different situations ams by giving us ease in the form of dry ablution etc and also the prophet used to adopt the easier way when given choice.
