Wuzu Breaks After Passing Wind But No Cleanliness Is Required

There are loads of info regarding many topics online. But most of them are on imaan etc.
I however not be able to find a few questions of mine. My questions are not regarding imaan. These are more like curiosity and not important.
I just wanted to know. The main cause of breaking Wadu ( with many other reasons) is passing wind or other stuff from the passage. But we dont even wash these parts during wadu or after breaking it.
Simple answer would be, this is what Allah’s order.
But I am sure there is a reason behind this, can you please give more details?

Nothing tangible happens when one performs wudu, nor when it breaks. Wudu has a spiritual or in modern terms, the psychological effect of having attained a higher status of cleanliness or purity. This sense of purity breaks when one urinates or defecates or its minor form, passing wind.
