Feeling Disgusted About Oneself After Sin And Urge To Quit Prayer
I am struggling with a particular sin that I want to give up and have tried hard but I fail 90% of the times and then I feel disgusted with myself. It’s not a Big Sin but still weighs on my heart, like a bad habit it’s hard to get rid of.
So, after committing it I feel disgusted and my inner voice says that with what face are you gong to pray now? Aren’t you ashamed of yourself etc and then even if I pray I feel like I am not doing it purely, it’s just that I present myself whenever it’s time to pray.
What should I do? I am aware of it before committing the sin but still can’t control it which makes it even more serious matter.
