As’salamualaykum,
With huge respect to ghamidi sir but wanted to know.
Is there a chain of transmission of ghamidi sir teachers going back to prophet …because this is the point traditionalists bring to the table out of the bat to discredit ghamidi sir.
I think this is questioned in “Ghamidi Jawab do” but its in summarized version and discusses which books ghamidi sir read and taught.

The criticism in itself is absurd because Prophet Muhammad (sws) gave us religion in the form of Quran and Sunnah and all of it has reached to us with ijma and tawatur of Muslims. Next stage is the interpretation of these sources which will be done at an individual level and hence bound to have some differences in their interpretation. First we need to establish the validity of this criticism. What does this criticism entail? what are the benefits/consequences of presence/absence of this chain? how is this chain proven for other scholars and if it is so, then why there differences among those scholars themselves and how can there exist differences among them when the chain is linked to prophet Muhammad (SWS) himself?
