Can We Choose Homosexuals As A Prime Minister?
From 48.03 to 48.55
He said we as Muslims shouldn’t choose them. But for choosing someone as your PM or leader, it’s based on one’s competence of leading. So if we think that for leading our country, a homosexual is the best leader among others then on what basis would Islam object that??

No one has any say in who the people want to choose as their prime minister other than the people themselves.

Yes, but to say that for “Muslims”, they should not choose homosexuals etc as Ghamidi sahab said. On what basis, isn’t it purely on the basis of competence?

As explained by Ghamidi sahab a conscious Muslim person or a society that considers homosexuality as immoral will naturally not elect or select such a person. Merit is not only based upon one’s academic or professional qualifications but for conscious Muslims it also includes moral criteria.
