hello there my question is that if someone does a sin once but delays the tawbah a little. so is it like the sin counter keep going up on the amount he delays it? so is delaying a tawbah for a previous sin,a sin in itself? (he’s not constantly doing it the delay time, but did it once before, but delayed the proper tawbah)

In principle, we know from the Quran that when someone sins and repents immediately upon realizing it then God has made it incumbent upon Himself to forgive. We also know that if someone delays repentance to a time when they clearly see the signs of death then repentance is not accepted from them.

We should constraint our beliefs to this clear knowledge that has been purposefully given to us, live our lives accordingly, and refrain from coming up with our own logic and ideas. This is especially true in things that might make our lives needlessly difficult.
