Wiping Head In Wuzu
What is the extent of wiping that must occur? For example most people I see just wipe the top (middle) of their heads back to the neck and not the sides closer to the ears. Is this just personal preference?

The Quran asks to wipe the head. The head is what the whole head is. One should run one’s hand on the whole head, just like in the washing of foot, we wash the whole foot. leaving a part of the head in Masah is a mistake.
