Reciting Quran In Last Rakahs Of Salah
Aoa. My question relates to reciting Quranic verses in 3rd and 4th rakats of farz after Surah Fatiha. Ustaz Ghamidi says that we should also add some verses of the Quran after surah fatiha. I would like to know how he came to the conclusion. To me, it seems to be a sunnah since almost all muslims only recite Surah Fatiha in the 3rd and 4th rakats. Can someone please guide me? The question should be the othe way roud, how one come to know that in the 3rd and 4th rakaat a portion of Quran should not added just like the 1st and the 2nd Rakaat.
This is a guess of some schoalrs that since the Qiyaam of the prophet in the 3rd and the 4rth Rakaat was lighter or shorter than the first two rakaat, so he might have rected Fatiah only. This guess has no solid grounds. Therefore it is recommended to do the same in the last two rakaat too.
