Natural Disasters And Muslim Ummah
I understand that when there are natural disasters, it’s not a punishment but a collective reminder of death from Allah. I am having a difficult time reconciling the earthquake that happened in Turkiye and Syria: Syria was already in bad shape prior to the earthquake, can’t even begin to imagine the situation there now.
Are we failing so badly as an ummah that Allah has inflicted Muslims with this disaster?

The event itself is reminder. However, there is another rule of cause and effect. This world works according to it.
God intervention is according to his own wisdom which we cannot understand due to lack of knowledge and wisdom.
Btw its difficult to differentiate for us between these two cases.
