The Sunnat and Nafl other than the Farz in 5 Salah, do both carry the same sawaab?

Or is Sunnat afzal then Nafl?

I only pray Farz for now but Alhamdulillah I pray all 5, now want to slowly incorporate these as well.

Farz cannot be equated in terms of Swab with Nafl prayers. We have only two categories in worship: Fraz and Nafl. That which is called sunnat, are actually the same nafl, but since they were somewhat more emphasized or offered with more punctuality, they were named sunnat. but still, they are nafl.

Sunnat Salah (sunnat-i-Mokada) as a term used in Hanfi jurisprudence and Other Nafl Salah are both Nafl Salah in their essence and for all nafl ibadah, Quran has given a principle that “he who does a virtue of his own will God will accept it and is fully aware of it(Quran 2:158). Following Uswa of Prophet (sws) in this regard is a highly commendable act from a psychological perspective but as far as reward is concerned, all nafl Salah carry the same reward in their category as being a Nafl Salah. However, reward of a deed in general may vary depending on the nature of the deed, the time in which it is done and the internal and external circumstances of those who do the deed. If a good deed is done in difficult circumstances and/or under some kind of restraint, it will earn more reward and if a good deed is done in times of ease and with ample resources, its reward will be relatively less. The feelings of the people who do the deed also count. A good deed may be done with complete willingness of heart and enthusiasm and it may also be done half-heartedly and under compulsion. Obviously both would earn different reward. This can be inferred from Quran:

    مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّئَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاء وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Those who spend their wealth in the way of God can be compared to a grain of corn which brings forth seven ears, each bearing a hundred grains. God [in accordance with His wisdom] provides in abundance [in this manner] to whom He wills; And [in reality] God is munificent and all-knowing. (Quran 2:261).

Some Hadith narratives also explain this theme. It is reported that the Prophet (sws) said that the reward of a good deed ranges from ten times to seven hundred times (e.g. https://sunnah.com/muslim:128b AND https://sunnah.com/muslim:1151e).

It is also hinted in Quran that Allah likes those who spend their nights while standing when a believer communicates with the Almighty while being cut off from the world, and nothing except the remembrance of God fills his secluded moments. At other instances, words such asمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ بِالأَسْحَارِ (those who seek forgiveness in the later part of the night, (Quran 3:17)) and وَالَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَامًا (those who spend their nights while standing and prostrating before their Lord, (Quran 25:64)) express this. Prophet Muhammad (sws) is also reported to have said that Tahajjud Salah is liked most by Allah after farz Salah (e.g. https://sunnah.com/muslim:1163a).

Since there is so much diversity among people with respect to performance of different ibadah, therefore we should not create a black and while list proritizing one Nafl Ibadah over another. If the intention of the person has been pure, no matter what nafl ibadah he or she offers, they should hope for maximum reward from the Al-Mighty.
