Yes, it is wrong. One does not know what good God has in store for him in the near future and in the far future, in the hereafter. Disappointment from God tells that the person does not really know His merciful and generous Rabb, and for him or her, the worldly life matters only. While for Muslims, this life is a passage, and our destination is the hereafter, where eternal blessings are waiting for us.

You need to understand the foundation of the Deen. We are not expected to solely function on the basis of emotions and feelings. We are expected to follow what is true and logical. God is good, always has the best plan and intent for humanity and proven time and time again to be the best source of hope for every human. Your emotions, desires and feelings may disagree but that is the point of this life, this test. You are expected to manage your feelings (otherwise they will overwhelm and blind you) but you must do what is right and logical despite what your feelings say. Muslims will worship God in times of happiness and in time of sorrow, because the situation and feelings does not change the truth that He is our Lord that has the right to be worshipped, being one of our duty to fufill the rights of others including our Creator and a major form of worship is to make dua, not necessarily because they always come true but because who else will you make dua to? There is only one God and He’s the only one that has been resolving your problems and can resolve them again. Dua reminds us who we are, and the truth of how dependent we are upon God and in the process, He accepts these dua when He sees fit.
The test of this life is to see whether you will embrace your emotions when making a decision or you will choose to use the gift of intellect that God has given you for your success. So be patient and faithful, because even if you feel like losing hope in God, He has not lost hope in you. Biggest sign of this is that you are still alive by His Grace, given the opportunity to ask this question here, because deep down you know that it is right to not lose hope.

Allah has granted you with intellect and ability to think. you need to find the reason why you feel that way. once u know the reason behind it, you can work on it and change it.
Allah wants you to take control of your life in your own hands.
