    Assalamualaikum

When you are not able to pray normally then there is concession. Like not able to do Ruku’, Sajda or sitting then you can do them symbolically. It happens at job place where you can’t do Sajda on a dirty floor. But if someone does extra job (which is not must) just for earning extra money (for any reason) and gets that concession in prayer even if he could have stayed at home and prayed normally. Is it ok or even undesirable/unrecommended?

Yes, it is ok. One is not obliged to reduce one’s activities to praying in its complete form. God wants us to remember Him and obey Him. and this is achieved anyway by saying prayers in all circumstances.

Wherever the concession in worship is given, it never says that the journey, for example, must be of some mandatory nature.
