    Asselamu aleykum,

According to Ustad Ghamidi Sb. (ha), Secularism is prohibited, My question is can we support and vote a secular political party, if the secular party is honest and doing well for the country, by disagreeing it’s secular ideologies?

    Kindly clarify.

In the perspective of a Muslim minority country, if a secular political party allows Muslims to have their personal law, one may support them without advocating their secularism. This is the only workable solution for a Muslim voter in this scenario.

However, in a Muslim-majority country, one may not support a secular party, which is not supposed to adopt the injunctions of Islamic Shariah for the rulers. However, if there is no such party available that can fulfill the job of a Muslim ruler, one may vote for a secular party without agreeing their secularism.
