As far as I have learned, humans that were devoid of intellect were living before Adam AS was born, we also know that by that time the early humans were capable to reproduce by themselves and hence creation from through the womb of the earth had obsoleted. I want to know if Adam was born through the sexual intercourse of the early humans why is it mentioned in the Surah Al-Imran, ayah 59 that “In the sight of God, Jesus is like Adam. God created him from clay; then commanded it: “Be,” so it becomes”.

Doesn’t that mean that Adam was also born from the womb of the earth and not through sexual intercourse?

There are two opinions on this matter in our circle. The one you cited above is the opinion of Sajid Hameed Saheb. To him, Adam was born without parents as a first complete human, according to the interpretation by him of the verse you cited. He does not discuss other human-like animals. Apparently, those were separate kinds that went extinct.

On the other hand, Javed Ahmad Ghamidi is of the opinion in the light of the verse of sura sajda, 32: 7-9 that humans were created like humanlike animals, and then interbreeding led to the better humans, and then one of them was chosen to give him human personality and that was Adam.

    watch his response.

https://youtu.be/jqIZ1QrhU0A29:55 onwards, Ghamidi Sb himself states that Adam didn’t have parents. What becomes of the theory of early humans then?

Technically, Hazrat Adam did not have parents that were Insaan. That’s what Ghamidi Sahab is saying, Hazrat Adam came from non-Insaan humans. But then Allah “blew spirit into” Hazrat Adam and his wife, making them first Insaan, first of their kind, no insaani parents. These non-Insaani humans were according to Ghamidi Sahab started from the earth, generations were born through reproduction, process of evolution until a couple reached the human form that Allah considered acceptable and then He choose them to be the first insaans that had no insaan as parents (because early humans did not have the kind of spirits that Allah “blew in” Hazrat Adam or his wife which makes them insaan in eyes of Allah, these early humans were still animals and they served as being pre-creation form in the same way as a child has premature stages in a mother’s womb before Allah “blows” spirit into them after 120 days hence the comparsion to Hazrat Isa in womb of his mother) , so technically “without parents.”

Your hypothesis seems convincing but at the same time I think this theory that they couldn’t be termed insaan parents since they were no insaan is completely subjected to personal opinion and understanding. However, I do believe in the early human races and would take your hypothesis as justifiable.

Although, I don’t think that after 3:59 most scholars would bat an eye to the theory of evolution.

Number of opinion-holders is irrelevant. All scholarly interpretations is subjected to personal opinion and understanding. All that matters is how much is one convinced of the argument and what is their response after being convinced. That is what will be asked about in front of Allah even if one may err due to subjective reasoning, as long as the truth-seeker was honest, they will be forgiven for any mistakes.
