کوئی شخص اگر انٹرنیشنل پیمنٹ کے لئے آپ کا ویزا کارڈ یا کریڈٹ کارڈ استعمال کرتا ہے تو کیا آپ اس سہولت کا کوئی معاوضہ لے سکتے ہیں یا پھر یہ سود میں آیے گا ؟ کسی نے 4 لاکھ کی پیمنٹ کرنی تھی تو کیا آپ اس سے معقول سروس چارج لے سکتے ہیں ؟ اگر ہاں تو ، یہاں معقول کی تعریف کیا ہو گی ۔ جزاکاللہ خیر ۔

As a principle, no amount should be charged as a profit on loan or credit given to another party. However, late payment surcharge and/or service charges may be charged from the client. Service charges are those charges which are not demand of profit on loan amount and its usage, rather they are other charges which are incurred because of other ancillary matters related to that credit arrangement or related to that service being provided in addition to loan e.g. for writing up of loan contract, for acting as an intermediary etc.
In your scenario however, you are acting as an intermediary for providing credit service between the bank and the customer, therefore, you can charge the customer for this intermediary service. But amount charged should be for this service only and not a profit on credit so provided.
The assessment of reasonableness of service charges can be done by comparing industry standards in this regard, but the service provider is the final authority himself to ensure there is no injustice, no exploitation and no reflection of riba in charging of those services.
