It is mentioned in holy Quran that Allah swt had conversation with Moses AS. My question is did Allah swt really talked to Moses in his voice? What is the rationale behind it?

Allah talked to him in a form of a voice that was audible and tolerable to Moses. We know only this and no further knowledge is given. This was an honour given to Moses.
This special honour might be for the reason that Moses was given huge tasks: to face a fierce tyrant king of his time and also to make his people, Bani Israel, who were surrounded by idolators, believe in the real God.
