Choice or free will is a human attribute. How would you choose something before being a human?

The question arises, when we did not choose to be human then why are we in this test of life?

Yes, we have agreed to take this test according to Qur’an. But we don’t remember it. Not remembering doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. None of us remember being in our mothers’ bellies but it did happen. Likewise Allah subhanahu wa ta’la revealed in the Qur’an,surah alahzab verse 72. He presented this responsibility of accountability to His other Creation like,skies,earth,mountains etc. They refused to take this test but we humans accepted it.
In another ayah Al a’raf # 172. Allah says ” And remember when your Lord brought forth from the children of Adam from their loins,their seed and made them testify as to themselves ” Am I not your Lord? They said yes! We testify” lest you should say on the day of resurrection: verily, we have been unaware of this.”
So please read the tafseer of the above ayas or listened to Shaikh Ghamidi’s explanation, you will get a satisfactory answer inshaAllah
