    If the main goal of islam is to surrender to ALLAH then why is this praising culture in some Hadith it sounds like nepotism for sahaba and ahle bait if the main goal to reach GOD then why all this praising of greater personalities.

    What praising culture are you referring here, please provide references? there is no such requirement in Islam.

    We humans do praise personalities of Islam, of our culture, of our past etc. because in additon to logic, we also possess a psychological and emotional existence and we at times fulfil that need sometimes through praises, sometimes through their stories etc.

    As far as Darood is concerned, it is not required by the Prophet (SWS), instead, it is required by us to fulfil our need to express our love, respect and gratitude for the Prophet (SWS). And what better and pious way to express these emotions than by sending blessings and prayers for Him. As for the narrations which apparently give harsh warnings to the ones who do not send Darud on Prophet (sws), they were for a specific time in a specific situation when hypocrites of Medina were plotting against the Prophet (sws) and His family and this point has been explained in detail in the videos provided in the following thread:
