    He informed us, He told us. This is the way of telling the sanad of a narration from the holy prophet. For example, A told me, that B told him, that C told him and so on…. that he heard from a sahabi or a from the prophet that he said, ……

    This is called Ahadith or Akhabar e Ahad, which were known to one or some people but not all and they told to others.

    Ghamidi saheb is of the opinion that Deen has to be conveyed to the whole Ummah, and the propeht did it. He conveyed Quran and his sunnah that which is mutawatir. These are the two sources of Deen. In mutawatir we do not need to investiage to deliver it, whether or not the transmission is authentic, faulty. Deen does not depend upon Akhbar e Ahad which are known to some but not to all. However, Akhbar e Ahad does contian the gems of wisdom of the prohet and his interpretation of Deen which is a precious treasure. Still Deen does not depends upon them.
