  • Being Humble Infront Of Humans?

I have noticed a fascinating pattern in the mindset of world champion boxers and historical warriors.

Many of these individuals, such as Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Conor McGregor in the realm of boxing, and formidable figures like Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great throughout history, displayed immense egos.

They boldly proclaimed themselves as the best on the planet without any hint of humbleness.

I adopted that mindset and I walk through life feeling like I’m THE man.

I’ve got a sense of superiority based on my aspirations. But, not just aspirations, because of the hard work I’m putting into my goals.

And this sense of ego is helping me a lot too.

But, I wonder, our scholars preach humbleness.

I may be wrong, but I prefer kindness rather than humbleness towards humans.

I feel like we should only reserve humbleness for God.

Everyone else is no better than me.

If I put my mind to something and I work hard, I will be better than others.

So, my question is: Is this attitude considered a sin in Islam?

Because the final prophet said that the arrogant won’t enter jannah.

I think I’m egotistical so it helps me alot.

I hold myself accountable to my high standards.

But, I do come out arrogant sometimes.

Let me know your thoughts on this:

P.S: Apologies if this question is a bit all over the place
