Historical Objection: The Lack Of Evidence For David And Solomon's Empire

Biblical scholars raise doubts on the truth of the stories and events mentioned in the Bible. The story of the empire of David and Solomon have also been objected upon. If David and Solomon really commanded such a vast empire, they say, we would have found archeological evidence of these empires, but we don’t. Which part of this statement would Ghamidi Sahab find problematic–that vast empires necessarily leave archeological evidence or that David and Solomon lead vast empires or both? Or is there another way of looking at this?

Archeological pieces of evidence are secondary and supportive to history, not that history depends upon them. In history, the most authentic source is authentic reporting when it is based on the consensus of a community. Histories are the work of communities. if a community is agreed upon a happening which is not a singular incident but a public event, it is its own proof. On the very basis, we accept the existence of Socrates, Plato, Ceasar, Hannibal, etc before or without we find any archeological evidence about them.
