Relationship Between Hazrat Fatima And Hazrat Ali
What was the relation between Hazrat Fatima and Hazrat Ali before their marriage? I mean, doesn’t their relationship fall under the category of incest? As Fatima (R.A.), the daughter of Muhammad (pbuh), was the niece of Hazrat Ali before their marriage, wouldn’t that be considered incestuous?

This type of relationship is not incest according to Abrahimic faith and sociology in general. İts called avunculater relationship.

Hz. Ali (ra) was the first-cousin of our Holy Prophet (sav), not the brother of the Prophet (sav), through parents. Thus, he was from Ahl al-Bayt, but, not the Mahram of Hz. Fatima (ra).
