In the video, Ustadh Ghamidi says that Iblees was representative or leader of jins. On what basis does Ustadh says it (other than the point he gave about history)?
Was Iblees also a person with great knowledge? How true is it people claiming it?

Since Quran talked about only one Jinn while describing this whole incident, so it is on this basis Ghamidi Sahab has inferred that he was acting as representative of his community i.e. their leader.
We do not know what level of knowledge did he possess.
