Why Consider Ghamidi Sb Stance On Slave Girls?
Assalamualaikum! My question is about the concept of slave girls in Islam. Ustad Javed Ghamdi, based on some YouTube videos, says it’s banned from Surah Muhammad, Ayah No. 4. On the other hand, scholars like Ibne Kaseer, Molana Maudoodi, Dr. Israr, Mufti Taqi Usmani, and contemporary scholars consider it halal, allowing sexual intercourse based on the term “Favor” in the same Ayah (47:4). I’d like to know why Ustad Javed Ahmad Ghamdi’s argument is more preferable then that of them in the true perception of Quran.
