Amruhum Shura Bainahum AND Selection Of Hazrat Uthman (rta)
Quran says that “amruhum shura baynahum” (their affairs are based on consultation among them). So all decisions that Muslim took regarding the sate matters should be upon consultation between all Muslim. So here is question ‘was the selection of syedna Uthman (R. A) was based on this principle. As we see the committee formed to select the caliph was of six members( Ali, Uthman, talha, zubair, Abdul rehman bin Auf and Saad bin abi waqas R. A) so they were muhajiron and so no consultantion was done with others Muslims factions like Ansar and Muslim of Syria and levent. So is this decision contradicts the Quranic principle as Caliph was to be elected by All Muslim consultation not by Comittee which compromised of only muhajiron
