Money By Making A Software For Client That Might Be Used For Gambling
I have recently done a software development work for a client. But I have strong concerns that the software will be used in gambling by my client.
I have received the money from my client, but since the software I have worked on will be used in gambling. Is the money I have received by working on it is halal?

If the software was intended solely to be used for the purpose of Gambling then such an endeavour should have been avoided from the beginning. However, if the software is of nature which can be used for multiple activities with many such activities being Halal and can also be used for a prohibited activity like Gambling and the programmer is not sure regarding its intended usage, in such cicumstances, there is no blame on the person who has created such software.
