Online Gold Trading And Requirement Of Physical Possession
السلام عليكم!
I want to know that is trading in gold online permissible in Islam?
People say that you can’t trade in derivatives, as there’s no physical gold?
Also, I would like to mention that in today’s world this is not possible to trade in gold or any commodity and to have possession of it after buying and then selling it afterwards and giving it to the seller, this won’t be easily possible for every transaction.
I would like to know the view of Ghamidi Sahib on this.

It does actually because the discussion is in the context of Hadith where Prophet Muhammad (Sws) prohibited selling without possession first. You may want to refer to the whole dicsussion from the start. I only directed you to the comment of Faisal Sahab where he shared opinion of Ghamidi Sahab on the matter (Dropshipping business is also conducted without physical possession).
