In such cases, nature is the judge. Lobster is usually considered edible, created no disugust, thus Halal. Also it has no blood. It is halal like locust.

Can it be considered a ‘darinda’ as it prays on fish by its claws?

Still it is not considered a beast like shark. Every animal preys more or less. We need to see its preying is considered beastlike or not.
