Is Calling Girls As Tomboys Permissible?
Regardless of islamic matter of ruling which we already know abt these stuff if a person calls a girl as “tomboy’ bcz of their stereotypes on everything or bcz of their difference of opinion upon it, would it be ok if someone call herself or others call her in order to make it clear abt her opinions regarding herself , , as it’s very common in friends to discuss abt the interests and hobbies of each other so after telling certain things they start calling them “tomboy”,, is it ok according to Islam,
And also similarly scholars say if girls in btw call themselves bro or a boy calls a girl bro it’s haram or like imitation while it’s common nowdays,,

Anything to be called haram has to qualify for the five categories of haram described in 7:33. If anything mentioned above contains an element of haram in it only then it is haram otherwise not. The verse goes
قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَأَن تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Say: My Lord has only forbidden lewd acts, whether open or hidden and usurping rights and wrongful oppression [339] and that you associate with God that for which He did not send down any sanction and that you fabricate something about God that you know not.

So would that be usurping rights? I don’t think so it will come in any category given above , what’s your opinion kindly share
