If person both kidneys fails and now he is living on dialysis…can he decide to stop his dialysis..if he stops dialysis he will die..Will this be considered sucide? Dialysis is expensive treatment..some people require dialysis 3 times a week and each session approximate takes 3 -4 hours.

In case of a certain treatment which will save one’s life, it is obligatory on the person to opt for that treatment. If a person opts out of that treatment without any genuine reason, then it would be considered suicide.

However, in cases where the results of the treatment are not certain or the treatment has not yet been established universally or the treatment is very painful or the treatment is so expensive that the person is not able to financially afford it. In all such cases, a person can opt to not undergo that treatment and it can’t be labelled as suicide.

At the end, a person has to decide himself with all honesty.
