    Assalamualaikum!

Would it be correct to say that Hazrat Ali (RA) was elected Khalifah by a combination of both factors present at time: 1. Many muslims (not all) in general also accepted him as Khalifah (like Ammar Bin Yasir RA).

    2. The acception forced upon some senior muslims (like Hazrat Talha and Zubair RA) by the rebellious group?

Would it also be correct to say that Sayidina Ali’s ( ra ) Khilafat was not according to Amruhum Shura Baynahum ?

On the Contrary, after the agreement Amir Muawiya’s (ra) khilafat was according to it , because the year was known as Aamul Jana’a ?

    Please advise.

Thank you, but still I would like to ask my question again; Would it be correct to say that Hazrat Ali (RA) was elected Khalifah by a combination of both factors present at time: 1. Many muslims (not all) in general also accepted him as Khalifah (like Ammar Bin Yasir RA).

      2. The acception forced upon some senior muslims (like Hazrat Talha and Zubair RA) by the rebellious group?

Yes, we can say that it was a combination of both these factors.
