Sheikh Ibn Baz Opinion On Face Veil
I just came across the fatwa of sheik bin baaz rahimahulla
According to him the face covering is mandatory When the women used to get interact with men by keeping their face uncover The verse of hijab is revealed in surah ahzab that they should not come infront of stranger at all .if there is any emargency talk to them form behind the curtain.Most of the ulama says that the verse is specific and limited for that time period when hypocrites used to scandalise the wives of prophet aliahisam & the commandment is also specific and limited to umma hatul momineen!.
Most of ulama too convinced of the face veil is not mandatory.
So how can this confusion be cleared
That shyk bin baaz rahimahulla says that the verse is revealed to condemn the entire gender interaction & also to keep face open

You can ask Sheikh Abd al Aziz ibn Abdullah ibn Baz for the basis of his opinion. Ghamidi sahab has already explained his opinion in a lot of detail in the discussion referenced below. Once you understand the basis for each opinion, you can accept the opinion that you find the best. This is the only way to reconcile varying opinions in any regard, whether religious or not.
