Assalamu Alaikum, what if we go to consultants to study abroad and we don’t give him any direction, just provide documents and don’t say anything. But we know in some countries like Australia, you have to justify your gap between jobs and studies.

What if the consultant may create statement of purpose (SOP) with a case that justify the need of study permit to visa officer but that may have some lying? in that scenario, will the student be taking someone else’s right? or will his earning be halaal in the future? Will he be accountable as well as he did not ensure if the consultant is either writing right words or not in the statement of purpose?

    Please answer, jazak ALLAH

To give your silent consent to lie is also sinful. it is true that unnecessary and excessive lawmaking leaves little room for people to prepare their cases with complete truth. However, one should try one’s best not to lie. However, your earning through your job is halal, as it depends upon your effort against the salary. If you fulfill the educational criteria then it is your right to go for studies.
