There is an argument by an atheist that Quran’s concept of origin of man is copied (in its parts) from the theory presented by Anaximander, a pre Socrates philosopher, probably around 1100 years back from Islam. And since they had trade routes with Arabs, the Arabs were aware of this embryology and evolutionary concepts in ancient Greece.

”Living creatures arose from the moist element as it was evaporated from the sun. Man was like another animal, namely a fish, in the beginning. Hipp, 1, 6 R. P, 22 A.

The first animals were produced in the moisture, each enclosed in a prickly bark. As they advanced in age, they came out upon the drier part. When the bark broke off, they survived for a short time. Aet, V. 19, 1 R. P, 22
Further, Anaximander says that originally man was born from animals of another species. His reason is that while other animals quickly find food by themselves, man alone requires a lengthy period of sucking. Hence, had he been originally as he is now, he would never survived.”
Quoted in John Burten’s Early Greek Philosophy before Plato. P, 73, 74 (1892)۔
“The worlds were not created, as in Jewish or Christian theology, but evolved. There was evolution also in the animal kingdom. Living creatures arose from the moist as it was evaporated by the sun. Man like every other creature was descended from fishes. He must be derived from animals of a different sort, because owing to this long infancy, he could not have survived, originally, as he is now.”Anaximander was full of scientific curiosity۔۔۔۔۔

    How to counter this argument?
