Feeling Better Than Others Because Of New Knowledge
Whenever I learn something new about religions, science, or history, I feel happy, and I sometimes think that I am better than others because of knowledge I have. Is that arrogance?
The reason I feel better than others which comes to my mind is from surah zummur ayat 9
.قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ
So please correct me if I am doing sin because I am young.

To be better than others in something is a fact, and one needs to be grateful to God, but to consider that I am superior and others are inferior is a negative feeling which is arrogance. Others may be better at something else than us, and no one knows who is superior in rank in the eye of God.
