    No, mere acceptance of gifts does not count as shirk. However, we should not engage in any ceremony which involves polytheism or polytheistic rituals and neither should we eat any sweets/food which are given in the name other than Allah to please any deity besides Him nor should we eat meat on which Zabiha requirements have not been fulfilled.

    I will be more specific here. I want to ask in mobile games there are special offers and gifts on non muslim festivals of China,Christmas,Halloween and many more like that.i personally believe its okay to accept it but an opinion will be well appreciated.

      Yes there is nothing wrong in accepting such gifts.

      Sorry to bother again but one sentence in your response is troublesome that “neither should we eat any sweets/food which are given in the name other than Allah to please any deity besides Him”.Isn’t gifts like those i mentioned in games fall in same category.if not then please explain a little.

      No, this restriction on eating such sweets/foods relates to the dietary matters (for eating) while the gifts being discussed in the question above are not dietary in any way.
